Privacy for the Organizer:

We collect information related to your event through ‘do it yourself’ mode. The information you provide to host your event includes your organization details, details of the representative, details of the event and pricing for your event. Through the process, information related to saleability, etc. of your event is collected. As part of the process, we also collect information of your bank account, tax identification number, etc., to facilitate payments. Sometimes we might also collect your information from external agencies or websites.

In order to access features and services of Grand Pick, you must register and obtain a personalised username and password. Your personal information can only be retrieved by supplying the correct username and password linked to your profile.

We understand that your privacy is important, and therefore, we endeavour to keep your personal information secured. The personal information of each organiser is stored on servers that are behind a firewall and are housed within secured data centres provided by established global players.

We use the data collected only to improve features, research and to facilitate secured payments.

Our internal policies and systems protect your privacy by limiting unauthorized employee access to use of your personal information.

PRIVACY FOR THE ATTENDEE :

We collect your personal information, location, contact details, interests, etc. As part of our policy, we also collect information about your credit and debit cards to facilitate payments. However, we do not store your card details. We only use services of established third party players for all payment-related services.

As part of our marketing campaigns, we also collect your information from external agencies or websites, which, in turn, is used for client servicing and marketing.

Member registration :

As a member you will occasionally receive updates from us about special offers, new services, and other noteworthy news items. However, you may always decline to receive these emails. If you feel that an unauthorized account has been created depicting you or your likeness, you can request its removal. However, Grand Pick assures that this information will not be made public or sold to any third party. Only the business, that a particular customer connects to, will have access to specific information about that customer. Grand Pick is not liable for misuse of this information by these specific businesses or persons related to these businesses.

Public content :

Your business ratings, reviews, photos, compliments, and the information that you display as part of your account profile and other content you post to the site are meant for public consumption. We may display this content on the site, and further distribute it to a wider audience through third party sites and services.

Member activity :

We record information relating to your use of Grand Pick, such as the searches you undertake, the pages you view, your browser type, IP address, location, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamp information. We use this type of information to administer Grand Pick and provide the highest possible level of service to you.

Information use :

Logs :

Our servers log information about your use of the site, such as your search activity, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, diagnose problems with our servers and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Service announcements :

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.

Customer service :

Please also note that information may exist in backup storage even after it has been removed from our active databases. If you are terminating a business account, the personal information associated with your account will be removed according to the terms of this policy. However your business listing will remain visible, including consumer reviews about your venue.

TERMINATION / ACCESS RESTRICTION :

The company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the access to the website and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. Without limiting the foregoing, the company shall have the right to immediately terminate any passwords or accounts of the user in the event of any conduct by the user which the company, in its sole discretion, considers to be unacceptable, or in the event of any breach by the user of this agreement. Not with standing any other provisions of the terms or any general legal principles to the contrary, any provision of the terms that imposes or contemplates continuing obligations on a party will survive the expiration or termination of the terms.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION :

If there is any dispute about or involving the website and/or the service, by using the website, you unconditionally agree that all such disputes and/or differences will be governed by the laws of India and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hyderabad, India only.

If the court of law having the jurisdiction to decide on this matter rules that any provision of these terms are invalid, then that provision will be removed from the terms without affecting the rest of the terms. The remaining provisions of the terms will continue to be valid and enforceable.

 

CORRECTING/UPDATING/DELETING/DEACTIVATING PERSONAL INFORMATION :

If a user’s personally identifiable information (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address) changes or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate user’s personally identifiable information.
